MADKID is a Japanese boyband consisting of 2 rappers (LIN and YUKI) and 3 vocalist (YOU-TA, SHIN, KAZUKI) whom were formed in 2014 and made their major debut in 2018. 

 

In 2019, the group released the song “RISE” for the TV anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero" and it quickly became a hit all over the world. They were later able to release their song “FAITH” which became the second opening for the series.

 

In January 2023, MADKID released “PARANOID” as the theme song for the Netflix anime series "Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre”. In October the same year, they released their new single “SIN” which became the theme song for Season 3 of "The Rising of the Shield Hero”.

 

In December 2023, they released their new single “FLY”, the opening theme for the new TV anime series “Sasaki and Peeps" that will release in January 2024.

 

With their astonishing rap work and powerful vocals, they make for a one-of-a-kind performance.
